We are seeking a UI Developer to join our rapidly growing Technology team. This role bridges the creative and technical aspects of project delivery-- with little supervision. A UI Developer implements the presentation tier including front-end and server-side technologies merging the technical architecture with creative designs and art direction. To achieve this integrated approach, the qualified candidate must have fundamental understanding of the creative aesthetic while implementing technically across a variety of platforms and frameworks. Ultimately, the UI Developer is responsible for all aspects of UI development including all project related browser and server technologies responsible for rendering the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coding the execution of complex designs and interactions that reflect the creative and art direction provided within the established technical framework
• Responsible for creation of all coded UI deliverables
• Able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project

Servient is looking for an enthusiastic Data Processing Engineer to join our growing team in Houston. The candidate assumes overall responsibility for the day-to-day technical, administration, and support activities related to the processing of electronically stored information ("ESI") to be loaded into Servient's Data Processing Platform. This includes identifying where processes need to be developed and/or improved, implementing those improvements and ensuring that the team adheres to best practices for processing ESI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processes ESI data from a variety of native formats and loads data to Servient's Data Processing Platform
• Generates reports to support work performed at each step of ESI processing workflow
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to ESI processing and assists other team members with the same
• Assists in the evaluation of ESI processing SOPs and protocols and ensures team adherence to best practices for processing ESI
• Maintains awareness of new developments in E-Discovery and makes recommendations to Management
• Contributes to the Firm's Service Excellence initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally. Displays professionalism, quality service and a "can do" attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Desired Skill and Experience:

• Experience with ESI processing and knowledge of Outlook, and other email systems
• Experience with eDiscovery systems
• Knowledge of fundamental legal information system requirements
• Excellent working knowledge of Linux and Microsoft OS-based systems
• Good knowledge of networking concepts and common infrastructure
• Exposure to development languages/environments including, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, and SQL
• Troubleshooting experience with ESI data processing issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environments
• Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

• Knowledge of ITIL processes a plus
• 1-2 years experience with ESI data processing software, service oriented operation with documented service level agreements and commitment to operational excellence
• 1-2 years experience in a Linux OS environment including some exposure to programming languages and databases

This is a very exciting opportunity for a seasoned JAVA developer to get involved in the latest technologies in Big Data (Hadoop, HBASE, SOLR).

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs
• Provide estimates for development effort

Requirements:
