Ian leads the development and delivery of Servient’s Predictive Review product, combining the work of Servient’s machine learning scientists with the practical implementation of the solution. Ian also consults with Fortune 500 companies, state attorneys general and leading law firms on strategies for using technology to increase efficiency and control costs in the litigation process.
Prior to Servient, Ian was the founder of DiscSense, Inc., a company focused on search technology for legal resources, before its acquisition by West Publishing Company.
Ian also practiced law for over 15 years involving complex commercial litigation. While in private practice, Ian was recognized as one of the top information technology attorneys by Virginia Business magazine in their annual Virginia Legal Elite listing.
Ian received his JD from the University of Richmond Law School in Virginia, where he was an editor of the law review. Ian served as a judicial clerk for Justice A. Christian Compton of the Virginia Supreme Court prior to entering private practice.
Ian is a frequent author and lecturer on electronic discovery and the use of technology in litigation.
With over 20 years in the legal marketplace, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Servient. Jim served as the President of DiscSense, Inc., a company focused on search technology for legal resources, prior to its acquisition by West Publishing Company. Jim began his sales career at Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company.
Jim received his BS in Business from the University of Connecticut, where he was also the Goalkeeper on the NCAA Div. 1 Championship soccer team. Jim received his MBA from the University of Richmond in 1990.
Mr. Reaux has extensive experience in leading enterprise system and open source development. Mr. Reaux brings a high-level understanding and experience with the latest technologies to the legal market, as well as extensive hands-on experience in code development and software project management.
Mr. Reaux has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and has worked in both the aerospace and information systems industry. Prior to joining Servient, Mr. Reaux was Director of Software Engineering for Parikh Advanced Systems. Mr. Reaux has also held technology development positions with NASA, Versata, Circuit City and the Federal Reserve Bank.
Mr. Reaux holds BS, MS and AD degrees in computer science and industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech.
Rohit leads the development of Servient's machine learning and big data analytics. His expertise includes machine learning, text mining and cloud computing. His contributions include the incorporation of machine learning to document review workflows, feedback mechanisms for quality control, clustering of data and using hadoop and hbase to process terabyte-scale data.
Prior to joining Servient, Rohit worked at TATA Innovation Labs, Datamatics and Gridstone Research. His work included research in reinforcement learning, text analytics, supervised machine learning and applying machine learning algorithms to market research and finance domains.
His current research interests lie in optimizing human dependent workflows using machine learning algorithms.
Rohit received a master’s degree in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University with a specialization in robotics technology and his bachelor’s in electronics engineering from Mumbai University.
Ram has over 15 years of experience leading software development, project management, quality assurance and technical operations for enterprise software across multiple industries.
Prior to joining Servient, Ram has held senior technology management positions at Clear Channel, FuelQuest, JPMorgan Chase and was Founder of technology startup, Delence.
Ram has an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, and a BS in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.
Bill directs Servient's strategic alliances initiatives, overseeing all aspects of its partnership programs.
Bill is a seasoned legal services executive with significant successes coordinating and consulting on e-discovery and legal project management for national law firms and corporations. He is a skilled sales executive experienced in all aspects of business development and retention, marketing and international/national strategic relationships.
Prior to joining Servient, Bill worked for Counsel on Call where he served as vice president of business development. He also held positions with SPi Global Solutions as a senior vice president and was a senior director for Thomson Reuters.
Bill has a BA from Baylor University and received his JD from the University of Texas School of Law.
