| Servient™ Forensics streamlines the forensic acquisition and analysis of computer evidence using a unique tiered approach for its services. Servient Forensics performs many of the most common and useful forensic processes on the evidence, providing insight into the evidence and allowing the legal team to decide if further analysis is necessary. These standard processes cover the requirements of most cases and allows for the forensic evaluation to be completed on a flat fee providing the budget certainty needed by clients.
The service can scale, however, to provide additional levels of forensic evaluation to meet the needs of any case. If something of interest is discovered, we can investigate further to provide additional information at an additional cost. Typically this would be done at an hourly rate, but fixed fees can be provided given a predefined scope.
Importantly, the technical process of forensic examination can often be separated from the substantive review of the evidence. This allows the client or lawyer to review the evidence for case significance and can result in substantial savings by reducing the amount of time spent on the case by the forensic expert. The client receives the efficiency of the lawyer reviewing the evidence with the defensibility of Servient Forensics’ technical process of the computer evidence backed by its expert testimony if necessary.
