Servient, Inc. is proud to announce that it will be attending the 2018 Legaltech event in New York City, at Booth 202, from January 30th to February 1st.

Legaltech is the single most prominent forum in the United States for the annual showcasing of software platforms and tech innovations to the legal world.  And for our 9th consecutive year, Servient, Inc. will be there to make the case for our eDiscovery and machine learning tools.

Key Servient personnel, knowledgeable both in the sales and tech dimensions of our product, will be present for Legaltech 2018 at Booth 202.  Feel free to stop by if you’re around – they’ll be curious to learn about your corporate or legal business needs and happy to explain how our ON-DEMAND eDiscovery solutions not only cut costs but also save time with self-ingestion of data.

In addition, we’ll be discussing modern technology and AI workflows for corporate legal and compliance departments.  Servient will also be presenting information on use case applications for international trade compliance (ITC), records management and contract analysis.

Servient’s powerful machine learning eDiscovery software has been used for years by legal departments.  Now our techniques of analytical model building are increasingly being used for compliance-related matters as well.

Case in point: Servient recently developed an international trade compliance app in conjunction with its client The Halliburton Company.  Halliburton’s dilemma was that every individual product shipped overseas must be assigned the correct tariff classification code.  Legal fines in the millions are at stake if errors are made, and when you’re shipping millions of units abroad every year and the classification process is done by humans, there’s obviously plenty of room for human error.

Servient’s novel solution was to retool the machine learning algorithms it had successfully applied to document review for use in automating the laborious task of assessing classification codes.  The ITC app has been an outstanding success and adopted whole-heartedly by Halliburton, and it shows the potential for future business extrapolations of Servient’s proven technology.

So, starting Tuesday January 30th and going through Thursday February 1st, Servient will be on hand at Legaltech to share with guests and prospective clients the benefits of partnering with us.  If you are intrigued by the expanding range of opportunities for utilizing artificial intelligence in business settings, come say hi to us at Booth 202!  If you are not able to attend or simply wish to know more, please reach out to us at sales@servient.com.
