Forward-thinking law firms are focusing on innovation to improve the delivery of legal services. Firms no longer simply outsource base services that technology can now automate.

The Lawyer recently published an article entitled “Linklaters Makes Strides in eDiscovery” regarding Linklaters’ innovations in the eDiscovery area. (The article can be viewed here). The article notes that Linklaters has used its internal instance of the Servient platform “to process more than 20 million matter documents across its offices in a variety of practice areas. The results come one year after the magic circle firm adopted Servient’s software for cost-saving and review efficiency from document ingestion to production.”

The Lawyer article reports that the firm’s e-discovery team has used the platform on "a variety of matters, serving around 13 of its international offices and about 10 practice areas such as corporate, real estate and trusts.  The article notes that the firm now has about 400 users across its practices using Servient.

The article quotes Linklaters legal tech and alternative resourcing head Jas Mundae “Whether it be investigating potential issues ahead of funding decisions or urgent responses to regulators, the combination of Linklaters eDiscovery and our Alternative Resourcing capabilities within the same function has enabled the firm to deliver on behalf of our clients more quickly, more cost effectively and more comprehensively than ever before.”

We salute Linklaters for their holistic approach to innovation and are proud that our technology has provided a role in their initiatives. They recognize the path forward is paved by innovation and that the future is now.
